Prevent crankshaft from rotating while tightening hub bolts.
1. Install hub (Figure 2, Item 1), block (Figure 2, Item 2), and three bolts (Figure 2, Item 5) on machine. Tighten
bolts to 147 lb-ft (200 Nm).
2. Install crankshaft pulley (Figure 2, Item 3) and crankshaft damper (Figure 2, Item 4) on hub (Figure 2, Item 1).
N OT E
Bolts should be installed in every other hole.
3. Install six bolts (Figure 3, Item 2) to damper (Figure 3, Item 1). Tighten bolts to 85 lb-ft (115 Nm). Repeat torque
sequence two more times to ensure correct torque.
