There should be no tension on steering contro lever when aligning steering control rod on
l
steering control lever.
Position steering control handle in Park position.
Steering control rod adjustment procedure isthe same on each end of steering control
rod. The steering control valve lever side is described.
1. Install steering control rod (Figure 3, Item 5) on steering control valve lever, refer to Installation in this WP.
2. Secure nut (Figure 3, Item 3) and loosen nut (Figure 3, Item 2), adjust yoke (Figure 3, Item 1) until steering
control rod (Figure 3, Item 5) aligns with steering control lever (Figure 3, Item 4).
3. Tighten nuts (Figure 3, Item 2 and 3).
4. Refer to installation in this WP to complete install of steering control rod (Figure 3, Item 5).
