CONTROL MANIFOLD ACCUMULATOR CHARGE PRESSURE TEST
000216
1. Assemble Pilot Pressure Gauge (WP 0304).
2. Open access door (Figure 34, Item 1) on machine.
3. Remove rubber cap (Figure 34, Item 3) from Accumulator Charge Pressure port (Figure 34, Item 2).
4. Install Pilot Pressure Gauge on Accumulator Charge Pressure port (Figure 34, Item 2).
5. Start machine and allow it to run for 15 minutes to reach normal operation temperature.
6. Ensure parking brake is engaged and Implement Lockout switch OFF (TM 5-2410-241-10).
7. Set machine to HIGH IDLE (RABBIT MODE) on the throttle switch (TM 5-2410-241-10).
8. With assistance, record pressure readings on gauge. Pilot Pressure Gauge should read 450-500 psi
(3,100-3,450 kPa).
9. Set machine to LOW IDLE (TURTLE MODE) on the throttle switch (TM 5-2410-241-10).
10. Turn ignition switch and battery disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-2410-241-10).
11. Turn ignition switch and battery disconnect switch to ON position (TM 5-2410-241-10).
12. Pilot Pressure Gauge should read 450-500 psi (3,100-3,450 kPa). Record pressure readings on gauge.
13. Fully engage and HOLD blade lift control in the blade lift position (TM 5-2410-241-10).
14. Pilot Pressure Gauge should not fall under 150 psi (1,035 kPa) in less than 1 minute. If accumulator pressure
falls below 150 psi (1,035 kPa) in less than 1 minute, replace Control Manifold Accumulator (WP 0224).
15. Turn ignition switch and battery disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-2410-241-10).
